Migration Museum – Garvan O’Doherty Group

quarto is collaborating with audience development agency Thrive, interpretive planner Ashleigh Kirkpatrick and interpretive designer Margaret Middleton to scope the potential for a landmark visitor attraction at Fort George, Derry/Londonderry. The project is the inspiration of Garvan O’Doherty Group, which is committed to supporting social and economic regeneration in the city. Presently, the proposal centres around the concept of migration, exploring the human stories of those that left Derry/Londonderr to make an impact in the wider world, and those that have come to the city and made it what it is today. Our task is to identify the core interpretive narrative for the proposed development and its potential audiences.
