A Growing Story

We partner with Brink! and Grow on A Growing Story, using a meantime growing space on a brownfield site in the city centre to explore our food heritage in the context of climate crisis.

We work with a group of people living in Belfast, coming together throughout the year to plant, care for, harvest, cook and eat food. We follow the seasons and look at what we can grow in the north-east of Ireland. Together we share the food heritage we carry, from this island and elsewhere.

In the face of change, we think about what we can continue to grow and eat, what we can let go of, what we can adapt and what we can introduce. We are looking at the past to help us understand how to live and feed ourselves in the present and into the future.
